My Personal Journey

“What does your life look like if you live consciously, fully attentively and close to yourself?”

Becoming aware of who I truly am, beyond the ideas and concepts that I was taught to believe, to embrace that ever-changing human being that I am, embracing life and enjoy it to the fullest, one day at a time, is what I strive for.

Off course that is easier said than done. I embarked on my personal awakening journey over 20 years ago and have had the opportunity to learn from and work with many inspiring teachers.

My calling is to share my experiences and knowledge with those who want to grow and connect on a deeper level with who they truly are and to find the courage to live a life that is aligned with their Heart and Soul.

The more you become aware of who you are, the more you are able to step into your full authentic power

Living inside boxes is not my style. I believe that we are more than the sum of our qualities, downsides and upbringing. We are capable of achieving a lot if we put our hearts into it and become aware of what drives us. I have been working with organisations and executives in the field of transformation for more than 25 years.

My career has spanned diverse roles, from early work in Digital Transformation to involvement in Education, Organisational Transformation, and Executive Coaching. I have co-founded 2 fashion start-ups, which brought me on the entrepreneurial journey from bringing an idea successfully to life.

Life for me is a constant transformational journey, in which I re-invent myself time and again. And this journey comes obviously with its own highs and lows.
Personal growth through awareness and an intrinsic drive to always learn, have been a red tread. I believe that the outside world is nothing short of a mirror that reflects our inner world.
Which gave me the motivation and courage to go inside and face ‘the music’. Time and time again.

True leadership both personal and professional starts here, I believe. Starts with getting to know about my shadows, my beliefs, my behavior and my history, as they show up in the here and now. They show up in how I view the world, how I project my thoughts and feelings onto others and how I feel.

This also means that I become more aware of my impact on others. And that I owe my emotions, behavioral patterns, and choices in life.

That, for me, is true empowerment.
And that is true leadership.
Without awareness, there are no new perspectives and is growth not possible.

It takes courage to dare to look outside your own box and to have an open view towards your own inner world and the world around you.

As a certified systemic, business coach and trainer, I combine worlds with my own journey of recent years. I share my knowledge and experience to support organisations, teams and people in their transformation processes.

PERSONAL
LEADERSHIP

Leadership starts with personal leadership. I cannot truly lead and inspire others if I have little sense of my own drivers and behavior. Shedding some layers that you have built around you during your life, which don’t support you anymore or help you to move forward, can be liberating. This requires compassion and courage at the same time. Because going on a journey inward can be scary and painful as well.

I don’t believe that your entire life is ‘manufacturable’. This assumption puts an enormous pressure on people when life is not going their way and it can lead to an incredible sense of failure. Truth is that we are almost never in control of what happens around us or how people respond to us. I do believe however that I am in control of how I respond to the circumstances around me, that I have a Choice.

And I need awareness to be able to do that. Becoming more and more conscious of who I truly am, beyond the conditions, limiting beliefs and masks, will enable me to ride the waves of life more easily. This is where freedom of choice and autonomy come into play.
